With its emphasis on individualised learning and purposeful play, Blueberry is well-known and highly regarded in Hove. It’s what makes us special.
Every day in our nursery school we encourage children to be inquisitive and imaginative in our stimulating learning environments. In doing so, they soon develop a real love of learning and a curious mind. Our magical forest school sessions open up the natural world to them, providing so many opportunities for development, problem-solving and creative play.
Our experienced team come with a wealth of early years learning insight. We know that every child is different with their own story to tell, so we make sure that your child learns in a way and at a pace that’s right for them.

Meals with SM
Children enjoy engaging cookery sessions, exploring ingredients and developing skills through hands-on fun. They also become curious about where food comes from, with opportunities to learn about growing ingredients, fostering a love for food.
Our bespoke food menus cater to various dietary requirements, ensuring every child can enjoy nutritious meals. With a wide range of meal options, we provide a diverse and inclusive dining experience that encourages healthy eating and introduces new flavors.
Our onsite chef prepares nutritious, delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We introduce children to a variety of flavors, sparking curiosity, encouraging healthy eating habits, and fostering an appreciation for good nutrition from an early age.

Our Community
At Blueberry, we’re proud to be part of a caring and connected community, and we're passionate about giving back. That’s why we’re supporting Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that does incredible work to help children and young people facing cancer, and their families, through some of the toughest times of their lives.
We’ll be coming together throughout the year to raise funds and awareness through a variety of fun and meaningful activities, from fancy dress days and bake sales, to sponsored walks and community events. By supporting Young Lives vs Cancer, we’re not only helping a vital cause, but also teaching our children the power of compassion and kindness.

Out Of School Clubs
Amidst all that learning, there’s plenty of time for play with games, creative activities and outdoor fun.
If children prefer some time away from the hustle and bustle, our quiet area is equipped with reading books and spaces to complete homework.
Whether it’s breakfast to start the day or a hearty meal after school, all of our nutritious food is freshly prepared daily.
